OSINT technologies in investigative activities

OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) in the structure of investigative activities acts as a complex interdisciplinary tool for obtaining intelligence information from open sources, characterized by systematicity, methodological multi-levelness and integration into modern information and analytical processes. Its use in law enforcement is due to the specifics of the digital environment, where social, economic and criminogenic processes increasingly actively leave informational footprints available for observation, recording and interpretation.
